4. How we collect information
We may collect information:
- directly from you, including by email;
- automatically through infrastructure needed to host, secure and operate the site;
- from an authorized representative of your organization;
- through a business relationship or service inquiry.
5. Purposes
We use personal information only for relevant purposes, including:

- preparing a conversation, proposal or business relationship;

We do not sell or rent personal information.
6. Consent
Where required, we obtain valid consent before collecting, using or disclosing personal information.
You may withdraw consent where the law permits. Withdrawal may limit our ability to respond to a request or provide a service that depends on the information.
7. Disclosure to service providers and others
We may disclose necessary information to providers that help us operate, such as:
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) hosting for the public website, in the Montréal region;
- Apple iCloud email and communication providers;
- security, backup and technical support providers;
- legal, accounting, insurance and other professional advisers.
Providers must use the information only to deliver the agreed services, subject to their contractual and legal obligations.
We may also disclose information where required by law, to protect our rights or a person’s safety, or in connection with a business transaction permitted by law.
8. Processing outside Quebec
Some providers may process or store information outside Quebec. Information may then be subject to the laws of the relevant jurisdiction.
Before entrusting personal information to a provider outside Quebec, SpaceCrew assesses relevant factors and implements appropriate contractual, organizational and technical safeguards as required.
9. Retention and destruction
We retain information only for as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, our obligations and reasonable business administration.
If a general inquiry does not lead to a business relationship, we normally seek to delete or anonymize the inquiry information within 24 months after the last meaningful exchange, unless a legal obligation, dispute, security requirement or documented business reason requires longer retention.
At the end of the applicable retention period, information is securely destroyed or anonymized as required.
10. Security
SpaceCrew uses administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and risks, including access controls, account and secret management, cloud security measures, suitable backups and secure development practices.
No transmission or storage method is absolutely secure. We nevertheless work to reduce risk and respond to incidents in accordance with applicable requirements.
11. Cookies and similar technologies
At launch, the SpaceCrew corporate website does not intentionally use advertising cookies, behavioural profiling or cross-site tracking.
The site and hosting provider may use technologies that are strictly necessary for operation, security, load distribution or essential preferences.
If we add non-essential analytics or other tracking technologies, we will update this policy and request consent where required.

You may request transmission to a person or organization authorized by law to collect it.
Send access or correction requests in writing to privacy@spacecrew.ca. We respond in writing no later than 30 days after receipt. We may verify your identity. A refusal includes reasons and the applicable review rights and deadlines.
